Embroiderers' Guild of America has been teaching, promoting and preserving the art and traditions of hand embroidery since 1958. EGA is a national 501(c)(3) non profit organization with more than 230 chapters and 8500 members across the country. The organization is known by its initials, EGA. Today, the guild is headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, where the sun always shines brighter.

The mission of Embroiderers' Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.
