El Segundo Blue's first banner

Over 30 years ago, our Chapter enlisted the artistry of several of our members to create a banner, utilizing unique designs and different embroidery techniques. Most EGA chapters have a banner and we wanted to be sure our chapter was represented. Any member wishing to stitch a motif was welcomed to contribute.

The banner was completed in 1993. Each member that contributed to the banner signed their names on the back of the banner. 

The banner was actually "lost" for some years. One of our out of state members was in the process of moving, found it in her treasures and forwarded the banner back to a local member. 

The pages that follow will showcase additional projects completed by these and other members.

Another banner exists and while we are not sure of its whereabouts, we hope to locate it among our membership post it here and display it at our meetings.
