What will this year's project be?
Stitch in Public Day
February 16, 2026
This event is held yearly across the US with participants from the local respective chapters. Stitch in public is just what it says - members convene to stitch in a public venue; a mall, library, or coffee shop. Designed to introduce the public to embroidery arts as well as the Embroiderers' Guild, the event is free! Stitch in Public coincides with National Embroidery Month as well.
This year's event was held February 16, from 10am until 2pm at the Manhattan Beach Mall. We met outside the Apple store and had a great time sharing our love for embroidery.
Watch this space for information for Stitch in Public 2027 as well as periodic public Stitch N Chats, usually held at the Manhattan Beach Mall by the Apple store!!
