Reversible Thistle Heart
Inspired by a 17th c. treatise by Randle Holme. Designed by Melinda Sherbring, the Double Plaited Braid is paired with Pattern Darning which forms a reversible pattern but a different one front and back. The design is most reasonably finished as an ornament.

A national event!
This event is held yearly across the US with participants from the local respective chapters. Stitch in public is just what it says - members convene to stitch in a public venue; a mall, library, or coffee shop. Designed to introduce the public to embroidery arts as well as the Embroiderers' Guild, the event is free!

Come join us for fun on California's Central Coast. We will stitch, eat, go to the beach, shop and take advantage of everything the Central Coast has to offer such as wine tasting, jeep trips hiking, sun bathing and public gardens. There will be a silent auction, Stash Exchange, and a Show and Tell of your Fall themed stitching.
